The US is closely monitoring the development of the cases against Nobel laureate Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus and his associates.

According to the post, the United States is expressing concern that the cases against Dr. Muhammad Yunus and his colleagues may represent abuses of Bangladesh's labor laws.
It is known that on Monday (March 4) night, Peter Haas hosted a dinner at his residence in honor of Dr. Muhammad Yunus.
Peter Haas organized this dinner and meeting on the occasion of Professor Yunus' meeting with Greg Nelson, Chief Technology Officer of 'Opportunity International', an organization that supports and implements microfinance programs worldwide.
The meeting discussed possible collaboration between the two organizations on various health programs of Grameen and Opportunity International. Amy Haas, Laurie Nelson and Executive Vice Chairman of Rural Education Noorjahan Begum also participated in the dinner and discussion.
