The doctors have announced the resumption of the outpatient services at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), which was closed due to the attack on the doctors.

In a press conference on Monday (September 2) afternoon, the resident surgeon of the neurosurgery department of DMC Hospital Dr. Abdul Ahad announced this.

He said, from tomorrow (Tuesday) the outdoor department will open on a limited basis (10 am to 1 pm). And the work stoppage program will continue from 8 am to 10 am. However, private services will continue for the benefit of patients, he said.

Dr. Ahad made two announcements and said that the criminals should be quickly arrested and brought under the law so that this type of crime does not happen. Steps should be taken to ensure patient safety. Security forces should be provided for the protection of doctors and patients in district and upazila government hospitals as soon as possible.

He also said that the main demand of the mass movement in the country was the reform of fascism. But despite being the largest ministry in the country, there has been no reform. There have been attacks on doctors in the country before, but there was no trial.

Health Advisor Noorjahan Begum was given thanks for arresting one of the terrorists who attacked Dhaka Medical College Hospital and four terrorists at Suhrawardy Medical College.
