Four people were injured in a bomb explosion during waste removal in Mohammadpur of Dhaka North City Corporation. Adviser to the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives and the Ministry of Land, A. F. Hasan Arif, went to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in the capital to see the injured sanitation worker.
On Wednesday (October 30), at 10 pm, he went to the hospital to see the injured sanitation workers and inquired about their physical condition. During this time, he also inquired about the physical condition of the students who were injured in the anti-discrimination movement and spoke to them.
It is worth noting that on Wednesday morning, a bomb in the dustbin exploded while removing waste in an open spot of the Mohammadpur Geneva Camp under Ward No. 32 of DNCC, injuring 04 sanitation workers. The injured sanitation workers are Md. Alamgir Hossain (36), Md. Yasin (40), Asad Mia (58), Saiful Islam (47). The injured sanitation workers are undergoing treatment at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital in the capital.
The Local Government adviser inquired about the physical condition of the injured and their treatment at the hospital. At this time, the hospital doctor said that the injured had wounds in several places on their bodies, but all of them were out of danger.
Adviser A. F. Hasan Arif gave instructions to ensure proper treatment for the injured sanitation workers.
DNCC Administrator Md. Mahmudul Hasan was present at the time. He said that all arrangements have been made by DNCC for the treatment of the injured sanitation workers.
