Chief Engineer (CE) of Rajshahi city corporation (RCC) Md. Ashraful Haq got infected by dengue fever.
Chief Health Officer (CHO) of RCC told barta24.com on Friday.
CHO Dr. A.F.M Anjumanara quoting the CE said: “He had been feeling feverish for last few days and got the confirmation on Thursday night after medical tests.”
The health officer said that Ashraful is taking treatment at his residence.
The Chief Engineer made several visits to for official purpose so likely he might be infected in the capital.
RCC Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton urged the city people to keep their houses and offices clean to dodge dengue outbreak.
