Badruddin Ahmed Kamran, former mayor of Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) and central executive member of Awami League, is no more (Innalillahi… .. Raziun).
He died at the Combined Military Hospital(CMH) in Dhaka at 3 am in the small hours of Monday(June 15).
On June 5, Kamran's corona was detected at Osmani Medical College Hospital. He was admitted to Sylhet Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital in the next morning of June 6.
Kamran, who was undergoing treatment at Shaheed Shamsuddin Ahmed Hospital in Sylhet was brought to Dhaka the afternoon of June 7and was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) as his condition started deteriorating.
Badruddin Ahmed Kamran was a member of the Central Executive Committee of Bangladesh Awami League. He had been the President of Sylhet Metropolitan Awami League for almost 20 consecutive years.
