Banglades has reported 53 more deaths, highest recorded so far from coronavirus (Covid-19) infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 1262 said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Besides, 3862 people tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 94481.
Prof. Dr Nasima Sultana, additional director general of DGHS, came up with the information in an online regular health bulletin about the latest corona situation in the country on Tuesday (16.6.20).
In the last 24 hours, 60 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 17214 samples, Dr Nasima Sultana added.
Bangladesh reported its first croronaviurs case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
