Incidentally, Sheikh Hasina fled the country and took refuge in India after resigning from the post of Prime Minister on August 5 in the face of student protests and popular uprising. She is currently staying in Delhi along with her sister Rehana. However, it is not yet clear whether Sheikh Hasina will stay in India or seek shelter elsewhere.
