Israeli attack on Baalbek, Lebanon, killed at least 60
At least 60 people have been killed in a brutal attack by Israeli forces in Baalbek, Lebanon. Israel carried out the attack yesterday, Monday, the country's Health Ministry said. Among the dead are children. In addition, more than fifty people were injured.

The Lebanese Health Ministry said that at least 60 people have been killed in Israeli attacks in several areas of Baalbek in the eastern Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon. In addition, 2,710 people have been killed so far in the relentless attack by Israeli forces. 127 of them are children. 12,592 have been injured.
This casualty figure is still considered preliminary. Because rescue operations are still ongoing. Of the 60 killed, at least 16 deaths have been recorded in a place called Ain al-Alak, west of the city of Baalbek.
The Gaza War has seen more than a year of cross-border fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, which has killed scores of people, most of them Hezbollah fighters, and displaced millions.
Hezbollah has said it is carrying out operations in support of Hamas and will not stop until a ceasefire is secured in Gaza.
