In response to these statements, the Senior Secretary (Department of Health Services) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said that an agreement has been reached with all the vaccine producing countries in the world on the basis of G2G to import adequate vaccines. A final proposal has been sent to Russia to import Sputnik V, but so far no progress has been made.
