Journalists will be able to enter the Secretariat with temporary passes from tomorrow, Monday (December 30), said Md. Nahid Islam, adviser to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

He told reporters this in front of the Secretariat at around 1:45 pm on Sunday (December 29).

Adviser Nahid Islam said that all passes for journalists to enter the Secretariat have been canceled. However, temporary passes will be given to journalists on a limited basis from tomorrow, Monday (December 30).

At the same time, he said that the passes of visitors will also be limited

BNP Chairperson's advisor Zainul Abdin Farooq, said that he should take care that he should not take to the streets again to protest against anyone.

He said these things in his speech as the chief guest at a program organized by BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman at the initiative of the Ziaur Rahman Social Welfare Forum in front of the National Press Club on Sunday (December 29) to distribute winter clothes among the poor, uprooted and cold-stricken people.

At this time, Zainul Abdin Farooq, addressing Chief Adviser Dr. Yunus, said, "If you want a party that will be run in the continuity of democracy, will use the parliament independently, will not interfere in the judiciary - to come to power, then quickly arrange elections in the country. Give a road map, announce the election date specifically. You should take care that you should not take to the streets again to protest against anyone because you are a respected, trusted person to everyone. We are proud of you.

He said, today there is an attempt to create a political crisis in Bangladesh like in the past. It has been a long time, four or five months, but have people seen the light of hope? Due to past failures, 160,000 cases have been filed against BNP leaders and activists. Cases have been filed against 40 lah BNP leaders and activists. The person who filed the case, Sheikh Hasina, is not in Bangladesh. The ghosts of Sheikh Hasina still set fire to the secretariat. Ramadan is coming. But, once again, the syndicate of onion, potato, fried and rice is conspiring to loot.

Farooq also said, we want to make the government of Bangladesh (interim government) aware of the past history, please make arrangements to keep the people in peace. The way the prices of daily necessities have started to increase, there is no peace in the minds of the people because, you (Dr. Yunus) have been elected in Bangladesh through an election and the people's right to vote, to be the representative of a government that will free 18 crore people of Bangladesh from the conspiracies of the past and establish it as a good democratic country in the world.

Addressing Chief Adviser Dr. Yunus, he said, "You are a person who has earned the glory for Bangladesh, the people of Bangladesh are proud of your glory. The previous government has also given you a lot of trouble. They have tried a lot to ruin your reputation. But, in these few months, people have started saying again that your associates are saying some things due to which your reputation is on the verge of ruining. I think everyone should speak with caution. Do not say such things that will create ambivalence among you.

The BNP Chairperson's adviser said, "Just as the Awami ghosts destroyed many important assets of Bangladesh by setting fire to the secretariat, where Sheikh Hasina's various corruption files were kept. They have become rotten." We hope that the government will quickly find those involved in this, publish their names and bring them to justice. There are still Sheikh Hasina's people in various places, identify them and take action against them.

The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement will issue a declaration of the July Revolution on December 31. The declaration will declare the Awami League irrelevant as an organization of the Nazi forces and bury the Mujibbadi 72's constitution, said Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.

He said this at an urgent press conference at their central office on Sunday (December 29) afternoon.

Hasnat said that this declaration will contain things like what kind of Bangladesh the people want, what kind of Bangladesh the future will be like. People's rights will be highlighted, including ensuring people's voting rights. This declaration will declare the Awami League irrelevant and bury the grave of the Mujibbadi 72's constitution. People will gather at the Shaheed Minar on December 31 to declare the people's desire to build a new Bangladesh.

He also said that the declaration of the July mass uprising should have been given earlier. On December 31, the July Proclamation, the declaration of the future of Bangladesh, will be presented under the banner of the anti-discrimination student movement to realize the hopes and aspirations that people have fought for and brought about the downfall of fascism.

The draft of the declaration has already been sent to various political parties. He also said that the declaration will be read out with everyone on December 31.

Sarjis Alam, the chief organizer of the National Citizens Committee and the general secretary of the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation, said that the declaration of revolution should have been given earlier. However, cooperation was not received from various sectors to move the state forward.

He also said that the declaration will be a document of Bangladesh, which is the difference between the past systems that people did not accept and the new system that will be introduced. This declaration will be a guide for those who will come to run the country. It will reflect the hopes and aspirations of all the people of Bangladesh. 

Five people were killed in a collision between a bus and a CNG-powered autorickshaw in Sadar Upazila of Sherpur. Two others were seriously injured in the incident.

The accident occurred at 11:30 am on Sunday (December 29) in the Bhatshala area of the Sherpur-Mymensingh highway.

It is learned that a bus named Rifat Paribahan collided head-on with a passenger autorickshaw. Five people were killed on the spot. Two others were seriously injured. They were rescued and sent to the hospital. Sadar Police Station members reached the spot.
