To a question from journalists, he said, as I said, these discussions are of bilateral interest.

Earlier, after Sheikh Hasina fled from power on August 5, Narendra Modi raised the issue of Bangladesh in a telephone conversation with US President Joe Biden. At that time, he sought the assistance of the United States in terms of regional stability and the security of the Hindu community in Bangladesh.

Meanwhile, after the meeting with Biden, Modi said on the social media X Post that the meeting was very successful. He said regional and global issues were discussed there.

In a press release on the meeting between Modi and Biden, India's Ministry of External Affairs said that India and the US will work more closely to strengthen global and regional cooperation, including in the Indo-Pacific region.
