Students and the people occupy Zero Point
Students and the public are protesting by occupying Zero Point in Gulistan and the road in front of the Awami League party office in the capital.
The Awami League announced a protest march program in the capital on Sunday (November 10) demanding the establishment of democratic rights. As a counter-program, the Student Movement against Discrimination has announced a mass gathering at the same place demanding the trial of the tyrannical Awami League. After the announcement, students and the public are gathering there on Saturday (November 9) night. Hundreds of people gathered at Zero Point that night to stop the Awami League program.
Earlier, the Awami League, the party that was ousted from power in the mass uprising of students and the public, called on everyone to gather to restore democracy in Bangladesh and instructed its leaders and activists to gather at Nur Hossain Square in Gulistan at 3 pm on Sunday.

On Saturday (November 9), Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, announced the mass rally in a status posted on his verified Facebook ID.
He said that a mass rally will be held at Gulistan Zero Point in the capital at 12 noon on Sunday (November 10) to demand justice for the fallen dictatorial Awami League.
