The leaders and activists of the Gano Adhikar Parishad(GAP) will not allow the Awami League to take to the streets, said the party's general secretary Md. Rashed Khan.

He gave this warning after paying homage at the Shaheed Noor Hossain Square at Gulistan Zero Point in the capital at 11 am on Sunday (November 10) on the occasion of Shaheed Noor Hossain Day.

To the innocent leaders and activists of the Awami League, Rashed Khan said, "Don't fall into Sheikh Hasina's trap. Don't try to take to the streets. We will not allow the Awami League to take to the streets."

Stating that the genocidal party Awami League should be banned, he further said, "The Awami League had announced yesterday that they would hold a mass rally at Zero Point with a picture of the newly elected US President Trump. On behalf of the GAP we had announced to prevent that mass rally." That is why we have gathered at Shaheed Noor Hossain Square with our leaders and activists. No Awami League can be found here. They are hiding in their houses, in holes.

Rashed Khan said, if Sheikh Hasina was her father's daughter, if she was actually Sheikh Mujib's daughter, she would not have fled this country. Today, Sheikh Hasina has fled, her ghosts are roaming around in different places. We want to say to the friends of the Awami League, if you make the slightest attempt to take to the streets, the GAP will give you a befitting reply. The address of the Awami League will no longer be in this Bangladesh.

Addressing the current interim government, he said, you should publish a roadmap immediately. But the people of Bangladesh are changing their attitude towards this government from time to time, moment to moment, month to month. When this government came to power in the beginning, they had no criticism. Today, the government has not been able to bring the rising prices and the law and order situation under control. They could not arrest those who committed genocide. This government is going to lose control completely because the government is not listening to the political parties. You should publish the election roadmap. If you want to hold elections, then announce it. If you think that you will remain in power indefinitely, the people of this country will never accept that.

After paying homage at Shaheed Noor Hossain Square, the leaders of the GAP took out a procession in the surrounding areas including Bangabandhu Avenue.
