Killer Hasina's close people are also becoming advisers: Sarjis Alam
Dhaka: Sarjis Alam, coordinator of the anti-discrimination student movement and general secretary of the July Smriti Foundation, has alleged that killer Hasina's business beneficiaries are also becoming advisors.
He made this comment in a post on his Facebook ID on Sunday (November 10) night.
Sarjis Alam wrote, '13 advisors from just 1 division! Yet there are no advisers from 16 districts of North Bengal's Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions! On top of that, killer Hasina's direct beneficiaries are also becoming advisers!'
Earlier on Sunday evening, three new advisers joined the interim government led by Dr. Muhammad Yunus. President Md. Shahabuddin administered their oath at Bangabhaban in the evening.
Then the offices of the advisory council of the interim government were redistributed. Among them, the responsibilities of some of the old ones were reshuffled. Some have increased their responsibilities. In addition, three newly added advisers have been given new responsibilities. Among the new advisers, Mustafa Sarwar Farooqui has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. Sheikh Bashir Uddin has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Commerce, Textiles and Jute. However, Adviser Mahfuz Alam has not yet been given any ministry responsibility
