Chief Adviser to the religious leaders, in the current situation of the country, many questions have arisen in the minds of people. I am sitting with you to find answers to them. When this government was formed after the July coup, when I appeared at the airport on August 8. I made a sincere appeal to everyone. It was not a political or audience-pleasing speech. I said we are one family. We will have different opinions, different religions, different customs but the family is one, we are all members of the same family. I emphasized this.

He said, despite our hundreds of differences, we are not enemies of anyone. Not enemies of each other. We come here in one place, in one row where we have a question of nationality, a question of identity. We are Bangladeshis; we are members of one family.

Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, when I took the oath, I heard that minorities were being atrocities. After that, I inquired and went to the Dhakeshwari temple. There I was given some demands. However, one demand is 'We all have equal rights. The right to speak, the right to religion and the right to work. They will come from the constitution and it is the responsibility of the state to ensure them.'

He said, I told them sincerely that we will see to it that this is ensured. My job is to deliver and ensure the responsibilities given to the citizen by the constitution.

He further said, even then I heard that minorities are being attacked. So I sat with everyone and talked about how we can rescue them from here? Then the time of puja came. I thought that there would be an attack at this time. As a result, security has to be ensured so that there is no attack on the Hindu community.
