No illegal foreign national will be allowed to stay in Bangladesh, said Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.

The adviser told reporters after a meeting organized on law and order on Christmas and Thirty-First Night on Sunday (December 8).

The Home Affairs Adviser said that no foreign national will be allowed to stay in Bangladesh illegally. This is not a sudden decision. After receiving the list of how many foreigners there are and which countries they belong to, a decision will be made on how long they can stay in the country.

Stating that the border area is completely secure, Jahangir Alam Chowdhury said that illegal infiltration at the border will not be tolerated in any way.
