It is worth noting that after the Awami League government fell on August 5 in a student-public uprising, an interim government was formed on August 8 under the leadership of Dr. Muhammad Yunus. This government emphasized on state reforms. However, BNP has been demanding to complete reforms quickly and hold elections. Jamaat-e-Islami has also spoken twice in the past few days about completing reforms quickly and holding elections.
