Awami League has suspended the mourning procession

Awami League has postponed the pre-announced mourning procession. On the occasion of the sad month of August, the party was supposed to hold this mourning procession on Saturday (03 August) at the premises of the Engineers Institution of Bangladesh adjacent to Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital.

On Friday (August 02), the office secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League confirmed the matter and said that due to unavoidable reasons, the mourning procession on August 3 (Saturday) at 3 pm has been postponed.

Before this, last Wednesday (July 31) Awami League office secretary Biplab Barua signed a press release sent to the media informing about this mourning procession.

On the occasion of the mourning month of August, it was announced that a 'mourning procession' program would be organized in the capital Dhaka at 3 pm on Friday (02 August) at the initiative of Awami League. Later, the party announced that the time would be changed to August 3.
