"Jamaat will give maximum support to the interim government"
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar said that the Jamaat will give maximum support to the Interim government to build a new Bangladesh.
He said these things while addressing as the chief guest at a rally organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Chattogram Zone at Safa Arcade in the city on Thursday (September 12) at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.
Professor Mia Golam Parwar said that Allah Ta'ala had mercy on the entire country including the oppressed organization Jamaat-e-Islami on August 5. All political parties, organizations, professionals, Ulama, civil society, and all classes of professions, including the tyranny and torture of the last 15 and a half years, have been freed by Allah Ta'ala, the burden of fascist Awami ruler has been removed from our chest, and we are gifting a new Bangladesh. The struggle and sacrifice of lakhs of people for the end of this fascist misrule will be forever written in the history of Bengal.
He further said that with the aim of realizing the dream of staying in power permanently, our leaders have been killed and disenfranchised through three consecutive national elections. But that dream has been shattered by the student movement. An interim government has come to the country through the upheaval movement and blood of young students of July; Jamaat will give maximum support to the Interim government to build a new Bangladesh.
I will appeal to the people of the country that the people should cooperate with the government in order to create a stable environment to create a free and fair election through the necessary reforms of the interim government.
Calling on the government, the Secretary General said, a reasonable time, neither too short nor too long. It will take a long time to complete all the tasks. At least we need reforms to have a fair election. Let the dream of the martyrs of this country be fulfilled by completing that reform and handing over power to the elected representatives of the people through a national election.
Chattogram Metropolitan Amir Shahjahan Chowdhury said, the entire nation should be united regardless of party-opinion. We are on the side of the interim government to eliminate communal violence and chaos.
In the President's speech, Assistant Secretary General Maulana Shahjahan said that the invitation of religion should be delivered at all levels. To serve the people should reach the threshold of the people. We have to play a pioneering role in meeting people's expectations. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami needs to make mental preparations for that change, as well as move forward to play a role in the field. May Allah bless us to play a proper role in the welfare of the nation.
