Elections should be held quickly after necessary reforms: Moin Khan

Dhaka: The member of the BNP standing committee member Dr. Abdul Moin Khan commented that the interim government should arrange election soon after the necessary reforms of the country.

He said this at a rally organized by the party on the occasion of International Democracy Day in front of the central office of BNP in Nayapaltan of the capital on Tuesday (September 17) afternoon.

Member of the BNP standing committee Dr. Moin Khan said, Bangladesh's BNP leadership has forced the government to resign today through the long movement and student movement. We have to understand that the interim government is the main mandate of the people. That is, the country has to clean up the mess of the dictator. All injustices of Awami League must be judged. Our agitation will continue till the return of democratic government.

BNP Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain said that BNP is a party of democracy by the presence of common people. The history of the BNP is the history of democracy, the history of the BNP returning the right to vote. We will remain in the movement until the people take back their ownership.
