After the reforms, Bangladesh will enter the electoral roadmap: Tariq Rahman
Dhaka: Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman has commented that after the reform, there will be an electoral roadmap in Bangladesh.
He said this while addressing as chief guest at the BNP rally on the occasion of International Democracy Day in front of BNP's central office at Nayapaltan in the capital on Tuesday (September 17) afternoon.
Tariq Rahman said, the last 15 years have introduced mafia rule in the country. This mafia cycle has made the country fragile. The mess left behind by the mafia is still not cleaned up. The failure of the interim government means the failure of all of us. So everyone should continue to cooperate with this government.
He said that two and a half crore voters of the young generation could not exercise their right to vote. The political rights of the people will be established through a free and fair election. Reforms should be completed on priority basis. If reforms are not done on a priority basis, the mass uprising of the students will fail.
Tariq Rahman said that people need political and economic reforms. In that continuation, 31 points have been announced in 2023 for the reform of BNP party politics.
At the same time, he urged all to prepare to create a knowledge-based state.
