Home Minister issues stern warning to the Rohingyas

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has issued a stern warning to the Rohingyas who have taken refuge in Bangladesh, saying they have taken refuge in this country and will live well.

The Home Minister was speaking as the chief guest at a discussion meeting on the occasion of the eighth founding anniversary of the Tourist Police in Cox's Bazaar on Monday (November 8) afternoon.

He said Bangladesh is no longer a bottomless basket; this country is now a dream country. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, daughter of Bangabandhu, has been taking Bangladesh forward.

Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that Cox's Bazaar is one of the tourist cities of the country. Therefore, the tourist police should be stricter for the safety of the tourists.

He said that at one time it was not possible to spend the night at Cox's Bazaar beach. Tourists were scared. There was always the arena of theft and robbery. But during the tenure of the present government, one can undoubtedly sit on that beach day and night. Everything has been possible under the leadership of our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Secretary of Public Security Department Mostafa Kamal Uddin, DIG of Tourist Police Morshedul Anwar, DIG of Chittagong Range of Police Md. Anwar Hossain, Cox's Bazaar reserved seat MP Kaniz Fatema Mostaq, Deputy Commissioner Md. Mamunur Rashid, Cox's Bazaar Zone Police Superintendent of Tourist Police Zillur Rahman and others were present.
