HSC exam of 3 boards including Chattogram shifted

Due to the natural calamity, the Chattogram Board, Madrasa Education Board and Technical Education Board examinations have been postponed. These three board exams will be held on August 27 instead of August 17.

This decision was announced in a circular signed by Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar, Coordinator of Inter-Education Board on Friday (August 11).

According to the notification, the HSC examination of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Jashore, Barishal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh and Cumilla boards will begin from August 17 as usual.

Tapan Kumar Sarkar said that Chattogram, Madrassa and Technical Education Board HSC and equivalent exams will start on August 27 instead of August 17. The examination of other boards will be held as per the published schedule from August 17 as usual.

This time 13 lakh 59 thousand 342 candidates will appear at the HSC examination which is 1 lakh 55 thousand 935 students more than last year. Among them, the number of boys is 6 lakh 88 thousand 887 and the number of girls is 6 lakh 70 thousand 455. This exam will be held in 2 thousand 658 centers.
