No more deals with foreigners: Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen said that the Jatiyo Sangsad elections are ahead. Bangladesh will not make a new agreement with any country before this election.

He said this to the journalists after the certificate distribution ceremony among the students of a private university in Sylhet on Saturday (August 12).

The foreign minister said that balance is the foreign policy of Bangladesh. Therefore, not making a new agreement will not have any impact on the country.

The minister said that they have been invited to the upcoming BRICS conference. The Prime Minister seems to be going. Even if BRICS does not include new countries this year, there will be a meeting with the heads of state of many countries, and various issues will be discussed. Inshallah, the Prime Minister will go there.

The foreign minister said that Bangladesh will not live on the advice of any foreign power and said that the next election will be held according to the country's governance system. In the meantime, various measures have been taken including the formation of a strong Election Commission for fair elections.
