Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina addressing the countrymen said do not trust BNP because BNP comes to power, it will lead the country to darkness again.
She said, BNP wants to push Bangladesh back to the dark ages. People from all walks of life are victims of BNP's tyranny. Those who have smuggled money abroad through corruption now have to listen to the policy.
She said this at the Awami League Central Executive Committee meeting at Ganobhaban on Saturday (August 12) at 7:30 pm. Awami League President Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting.
Noting that Awami League has no desire to come to power by selling the country's resources, the Prime Minister said that BNP came to the government promising to sell gas.
BNP did not arrange a caretaker government despite having the opportunity, the prime minister said, why are they asking for a caretaker government now? The people of the country do not accept if the votes are stolen. Khaleda Zia's resignation is proof of that.
Sheikh Hasina asked the nation, "Has the Awami League committed a crime?" Why is the BNP talking about one point? Can Khaleda Zia answer those who are bereaved? BNP has been able to give to the people of the country?
