A 17-minute video conference was held with BNP's high-profile leaders before setting fire to the Benapole Express train at Gopibagh in the capital, said Kazi Mohammad Mansoor, a member of the Dhaka South Jubo Dal. The mobile used for video conferencing has been recovered.

DB said that before the Benapole Express train was set on fire at Gopibagh in the capital on Friday night, a virtual video conference was held under the chairmanship of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP convener Khondokar Enamul Haque Enam. In the 17-minute conference in the evening, it was decided to set fire to the train. After the decision is made, one person is assigned to set fire to the train. After that on Friday night at 9:05 pm there was a report of fire in the Benapole Express train. 4 people were killed and 8 people are undergoing treatment in the hospital due to burns in the train.

Juba Dal leader Kazi Mansoor told this information during DB's inquiry about the plan to set fire to the train on Saturday (January 6) morning. A video of the statement came into the hands of Barta24.com.

Mansoor admitted in the three-minute-11-second video that he held a virtual meeting on Friday night. Convener of Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP Khondokar Enamul Haque Enam, Jubo Dal leader Rabiul Islam Nayan and many others were present in the meeting. The meeting lasted for about 17 minutes. Virtually two decisions were taken in this meeting. The first decision was to explode cocktails at the polling stations, so that voters would not go to the polling stations in fear. And the second decision was to set fire to the train. At that time Jubo Dal leader Rabiul Islam Nayan asked who can set fire to the train. Then one agreed to set fire to the train.

Mansoor also said in his statement given to the police that Rabiul Islam said to set fire to any train coming from Kishoreganj after entering Dhaka or Narayanganj route train. Then Rabiul Islam assigned one person in the meeting to set the train on fire.
