Shots fired at Trump rally in Pennsylvania, 1 dead
Donald Trump was shot at a campaign rally in the US state of Pennsylvania. As soon as the shots rang out, Trump sat on the stage. Later, when the intelligence agency pulled him up, he was seen bleeding from his ears and face. In this incident, the gunman himself was killed by law enforcement forces.
The incident happened on Saturday evening (July 13) local time in the United States. CNN reported this information in a report on Sunday (July 14).
Reports said multiple gunshots were heard at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania shortly after Trump began his speech. And as soon as he heard this word, Secret Service agents quickly took him down from the stage.
CNN reported that Trump was injured. However, it is not clear how or what kind of injuries he sustained. A video from the scene showed Trump bleeding from his right ear and the right side of his face. From this it is assumed that Trump is "injured".
In a statement, Trump's campaign team said he (Trump) is doing well and is being checked out at a local hospital.
Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden condemned the attack on Trump. In a statement, he said, the violence in Pennsylvania should be condemned by all.
