The government has lowered the age limit for vaccinating against Covid-19 to 18 years.

Visiting the registration site to get vaccinated, it is seen that people aged 18 and above in the country can now get vaccinated. The government has reduced the age limit for vaccination in a few steps.

Tthe spokesman for the Department of Health and the director of the vaccination program Dr Shamsul Haque confirmed the matter to media

He said the registration process for those aged 18 and above has been launched on the security website since Tuesday (October 19) evening.

From now on, anyone with the age of 18 can register and get the Covid-19 vaccine.

Mass vaccination activities started in the country from February 7. At that time the age limit was 55 years. But from February 8, the government set a 40-year age limit for registration.

Then it was reduced by another step to 35 years and July 19 it was reduced to 30 years. Later, the 25-year-olds have been able to register since the last July 29.
