Obaidul Quader alleges that BNP is planning to install a caretaker government for two years by foreign power
Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader has complained in his speech as the chief guest at the peace rally organized in the capital's Hazaribagh market on Tuesday that BNP is trying to install a caretaker government through foreign powers. Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League organized the rally against 'BNP-Jamaat's terrorism, militancy, anarchy, apathy and continued anti-national conspiracy'.
Obaidul Quader said, 'BNP is still eating bananas in its mind. It seems like a date, the month of October. That will not happen while we are alive.'
Awami League General Secretary said, "Now again, they will appoint a caretaker government like One-Eleven for two years according to their own will, how did you think this?" We keep all the news. There is no point in watching the nightmare of One-Eleven.
Criticizing BNP General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Quader said, "BNP leaders are saying that Sheikh Hasina's time is over." BNP leaders say - Awami League's time is over. I want to know a little, Mr. Fakhrul, Mr. Amir Khosru; When is it over? Give the date. We have been listening for 14 years. Say after Eid of fasting, after Eid ul Azha, then say after monsoon, after exam. This year or that year? What year will the movement be? Looks like 14 years. How many years do people live?
Fakhrul Sahib, when the time is over, let me know the time to hold the press conference. We will appear with a bunch of roses, tuberose. Tell the time. So that we can hand over power to you on time," said Obaidul Quader.
Regarding the proposed budget, Kader said, "There was a little deficit in the budget. Japan cooperated. One hundred and four hundred million.
Quader said, "When Sheikh Hasina is honored abroad, the people of Bangladesh are happy. BNP suffers. Their liver dries up. Sheikh Hasina is bringing honor to the country, one cannot look at their faces when they see it.
Awami League general secretary said, 'BNP and their allies think that they will speak their mind on the day that the election has been neutral and fair, when the Awami League will be defeated. If Awami League wins a fair election, they will never accept defeat.
Will Khaleda Zia run the country from (last) December! BNP is a party! They don't follow law, they don't follow justice. No arbitration. They are disobedient to the law," said the Awami League leader.
Referring to the Awami League's readiness for the elections, Quader said, "We are ready." The election will be according to the constitution. We want to see whether the US visa policy prevents them or not.
Awami League general secretary said that all upcoming elections like Gazipur, Khulna, Barisal will be good. He said, "The rules of the constitution wait for no one."
Awami League presidium member Advocate Kamrul Islam, Dr. Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Joint General Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Organizing Secretary Mirza Azam, Dhaka South City Corporation Mayor Sheikh Fazle Noor Tapos, Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League President Abu Ahmed Mannafi, General Secretary Humayun Kabir and others were present.
