‘There is no chance to share seats with any other party outside the 14 parties’
Awami League Joint General Secretary and Member of Parliament Mahbubul Alam Hanif said, "There is no chance of sharing seats with any other party except 14 parties in the upcoming 12th Jatiya Sangsad Elections." He said, BNP now wants to sustain its existence by setting fire to bus trucks. By doing these terrorist activities, they are basically becoming more isolated.
Hanif said this in response to journalists' questions before attending the extended meeting of town and Sadar Awami League at Kushtia district Awami League office on Saturday (December 9).
Hanif said that the election will be free and fair. Awami League will hold elections in 14-party coalition. Apart from this there is no possibility of seat sharing with any other party. And the law enforcement forces are already taking strong steps to stop the vandalism that is happening. The BNP leaders of the area where the vandalism will take place must bear the responsibility.
He also said that he should come under the law if he commits arson. Hope this secret vandalism will be stopped only by taking strict action. BNP is dreaming about sanction, they are thinking which foreign lord will put them in power. BNP has a rumor cell, their job is to create rumors. They have no basis.
Besides Mahbubul Alam Hanif, District Awami League President Sadar Uddin Khan, General Secretary Azgar Ali, Senior Vice President Haji Rabiul Islam, Pourashava Awami League President Taizal Ali Khan, Sadar Upazila Awami League President ASM Akhtaruzzaman Masum spoke in the extended meeting.
