General Secretary of the ruling Awami League, Obaidul Quader, said that BNP and some foreigners are conspiring to disrupt the upcoming 12th JS elections.

He said these things while talking to reporters at the Dhaka District Awami League building in Tejgaon on Tuesday (December 12) evening. Before this, he attended the discussion meeting of Awami League office affairs sub-committee related to the 12th JS election as the chief guest.

He said, 'BNP is doing terror and conspiracy to thwart the upcoming JS elections. Some foreigners also have a hand in it. In this case, they may have military dominance and geopolitical interests in the region.

Stating that this election is a challenge for us, Obaidul Quader said, 'We are passing through a challenging time. Challenges must be met with dignity. Another wonderful opportunity to institutionalize democracy is upon us. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a hard worker in this tough fight to transform crisis into possibility.
