US-Bangla Airlines crosses 2000th day of success stories beginning its journey on July 17, 2014  US-Bangla Airlines has been setting unique examples one by one in the aviation industry of Bangladesh, achieving a milestone of its success.

The US-Bangla Airlines, in a competitive aviation business in Bangladesh and around the world, started its flight just 2000 days ago, with a six-seat Bombardier-made DASH 8-Q 400 series aircraft operating on Dhaka-Jessore route. From the very beginning its own catering, tailoring, in-house training facilities, international standard in-flight service, which has made it acceptable to the passengers.

Within a year, US-Bangla Airlines has been able to connect people across the country via airspace in a short time by conducting US-Bangla Airlines flights to all the airports within Bangladesh.

At present, flights are operating daily from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Jessore, Syedpur, Barisal and Rajshahi routes. Within two years of the US-Bangla Airlines inception, the international flight have begun operating on the Dhaka-Kathmandu route on May 15, 2016. Currently, it operates regular flights from Dhaka to Kolkata, Chennai, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Guangzhou. In addition, US-Bangla operates direct flights from Chittagong to Kolkata, Chennai, Doha and Muscat routes.

In the 49 years since independence, US-Bangla Airlines is the only airline operating flights to Guangzhou and Chennai. US-Bangla has been praised by the business community of the country for operating flights on Guangzhou route. Besides, Bangladeshi citizens are able to travel to Chennai and Vellore to get better medical facilities because of the flight management on the Chennai route.

At present, the US-Bangla fleet has four Boeing 737-800, four brand new ATR72-600 and three Dash8-Q400 aircrafts. Two more brand new ATR-72-600 aircrafts are due to be added to the fleet this month. As per previous plan, a total of ten brand new ATR 72-600 aircrafts have been decided to be added to the US-Bangla Airlines fleet by June this year. It has its own in- flight magazine ‘Blue Sky’. All US-Bangla aircrafts are completely smoke-free. Currently, more than 400 flights operate on domestic and international routes weekly.

In the past 2000 days, US-Bangla Airlines has recorded more than 90 percent on-time flight management. US-Bangla carries more than 40 percent of total passenger on domestic routes.
In recognition of its unique passenger service, US-Bangla Airlines has achieved the crown of the best airlines on the domestic route. At present, there are about 1500 officers and employees in the US-Bangla Airlines. It has been paying regular tax-surcharges keeping the wheels of the country's economy moving. By operating flights on international routes, it is helping to increase the country's reputation. By earning foreign currency it is strengthening the economy of the country.

All travel agents associated with the business with US- Bangla have also consolidated their business in its 2000 days space journey. There are about 2500 travel agents in various countries including Bangladesh are involved with the US-Bangla which is really unimaginable. Along with that all the reputed corporate and commercial organizations of Bangladesh are also involved here. There are on-line booking facilities for collecting US-Bangla tickets. There are also home delivery facilities. It has 30 sales offices across the country. Besides, it has its own sales offices in Kolkata, Chennai, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Canada and New York. There is a Sky Star package for the frequent flyers which provides a passenger not only the ticket facilities but the passengers get different package facilities in different business establishments.

In the context of Bangladesh, US-Bangla is offering a number of services to travelers, which has set an example in the aviation industry. Among the notable services are delivery of luggage  within 15 minutes of international flight landing,  passengers’ help desk at the airport for wage earners, 20% discount in ticket price for senior citizens, military officers and golfers with 10% rebate.
US-Bangla Airlines not only transport passengers but also cargo to various domestic and international destinations. Since its inception, US-Bangla Airlines has been closely involved in the development of various sports, social, cultural and other sports in the country.
