AHM Safikuzzaman said, "I want to say with responsibility that brinjal fried (beguni) in oil at Iftar is not healthy at all." I am not a doctor, but if you ask all doctors, they will advise you not to eat this ‘beguni’. The media hype of Iftar, the oil-fried ‘beguni’ and the amount of dust that falls there is not at all healthy.

Regarding the increase in the price of brinjal, he said, if we limit the purchase of brinjal, then the brinjal which cost Tk. 100, will be available for Tk. 40 the next day.

It is known that the price of cucumbers and brinjals in the market has exceeded Tk. 100 since the fasting started. Skyrocketing prices of grocery products. A kg of khesari dal is being sold at Tk. 150. Chickpeas Tk. 120 and desi lentils are selling at Tk. 140-155. In all cases the price heats up.
